The Children's Rooms in Lebanon and West Lebanon offer resources to assist patrons with their reading, research, and recreational needs. Our diverse collection includes picture books, fiction, non-fiction, reference materials, DVDs, VHS tapes, books on tape/CD, and music.
Location The Children's Room is located on the first floor of the Lebanon Public Library. It is one of the most popular spots in the library. Parents and children come to browse for books, or to find a video or game.
Things to Do
The Children's Room is easily accessible from the Bank Street door as well as from the front entrance to the library. There is plenty of space and many child-sized tables and chairs to make the library a comfortable place for its youngest users. Young people can listen to tapes with headphones; use crayons, paper, scissors, and tape from the Activity Box to shape their own creations; play games or build puzzles.
Events and Celebrations Lebanon and West Lebanon public libraries offer a wide variety of programs for children. Story time is a regular feature throughout the year, with a special reading program during the summer. The libraries also offer special programs during holidays, school vacations, and on some Saturdays. Please visit our Children's Programs page for more details.
