The databases on this page are by subscription: access to them has been paid for either by Lebanon Public Library or by arrangement with the State of New Hampshire Library. Ebscohost
Ebscohostis a research service made up of several parts. Novelist and Novelist K-8 are Reader's Advisory databases that help readers find fiction books to read and include book reviews. TOPICsearch is a database aimed at students to help find information by subject; Children's/YA Resources and Children's Resources provide other databases for students. Information services for adults include Adult Services Resources, Business Resources, and Health Resources.
HeritageQuest
HeritageQuest is a history/genealogy database that offers researchers a treasure trove of information. A complete set of U.S. Federal Census Records, 1790-1930, is available for searching. Find information on people and places described in over 25,000 family and local histories. Search the Persi index of over 1.6 million genealogy and local history articles. Special Revolutionary War records are available to search, including Revolutionary War Era Pension and Bounty-Land Warrant Application Files.
Valley News Obituary Index (1997 to present)
TheValley News Obituary Index includes obituaries that have appeared in the Valley News from 1997 through the present day. The Valley News obituary pages are available on microfilm at the Lebanon Public Library. Please contact the library if you have any questions.
NewsBank
NewsBank is a newspaper database for the Concord Monitor and the Manchester Union Leader. Both papers offer full-text coverage of local and regional news, including community events, schools, politics, cultural activities, local companies, state industries and people in the community. The Concord Monitor archive dates back to October of 2002; the Manchester Union Leader can be searched back to 1989.
Value Line Online
Value Line is now online, thanks to this subscription offered by the Lebanon Public Library to its patrons. The library's subscription includes patron access to Value Line Investment Survey - Standard Edition; Value Line Investment Survey - Plus Edition; Value Line Investment Survey - Small & Mid-Cap Edition; Value Line Mutual Fund Survey.
